Greensburg, PA, October 3, 2024 — Coleman Brumley, Chair of ANSI/ASHRAE SSPC 135, is pleased to announce the release of BACnet Protocol Revision 27 and Protocol Revision 28.
Protocol Revision 27 includes Addendum 135-2020bx and Addendum 135-2020ci. Addendum BX introduces the concept of a BACnet Device Proxy. Addendum CI introduces various clarifications based upon responses to interpretation requests.
Protocol Revision 28 includes Addendum 135-2020cj and Addendum 135-2020co. Addendum CJ includes new functionality pertaining to lighting objects. Addendum CO includes clarification about the out-of-service concept with regards to reliability and removes fault algorithm conflicts.
