The global BACnet community includes regional and country communities in different forms around the world. This page provides links to some of the organizations that support local BACnet communities and work to advance the successful adoption of the BACnet standard. They all foster collaboration among manufacturers, integrators, and end users to inform and educate their stakeholders while maintaining connections to the global community. This coordinated effort enhances the continued evolution of the protocol while building trust and momentum for its broader, global deployment.
The BACnet France Association was founded in 2007 under the leadership of the President of the Automation, Climate Engineering and Regulation for Energy Efficiency in Buildings Trade Organization (ACR). It provides a forum for manufacturers to promote BACnet in France with the support of the BACnet Interest Group Europe. The three primary priorities of the group are training, information, and communication.
